Boghenii Noi
But God doesn’t like to work alone. In June, He led a dedicated team from Aberdeen, SD to come and help us build the new church in Boghenii Noi. Partnering together with our Moldovan brothers and sisters, in only one week we turned a cement slab into an enclosed building with the roof, windows, and doors all installed.
And not only that, but the church has already begun weekly services, bringing the Good News of Jesus and hope to the village and surrounding area. Thanks be to God…there He goes again! Take a look at the progress in the photos below.
Welcome to Moldova! After driving five hours from Aberdeen, SD by car, then traveling another 20 hours by plane, and finally another two hours after arriving in Moldova, the team made it to Boghenii Noi.
With the land cleared and the foundation slab prepared in advance, we were ready for the SD team to arrive. Time to build the new church!
Together with our incredible Moldovan brothers and sisters the walls started going up and the church was being built. And, thanks be to God for the perfect weather!
