Working alongside local believers in Moldova and mission-minded partners from the U.S. to build churches in unreached villages—bringing the hope of the Gospel where it’s needed most.
So, Who are the Darrins?
Troy and Heidi Jo have been serving in Moldova as career missionaries since 2007. Their present work can be summed up in the following way: “Building the Church — Strengthening the Church.” Each year they host numerous missions teams that help build and establish new churches in targeted unreached locations of Moldova. As well, they continue to work with these newer churches to strengthen them through evangelism outreaches, leadership training, ministry resourcing, and ongoing support.
Here are some of the most recent churches we've helped build in Moldova:
Frumușica
On the northwestern side of Moldova lies the village of Frumusica, a small quaint town whose name means “beautiful” in Romanian.
Chisinau
Elim Christian Center (ECC), one of our vital churches located in Moldova’s capital city, Chisinau.
Boghenii Noi
Well, there God goes again helping us see another church being built and started in Boghenii Noi, Moldova.
Nisporeni
This is a key “mother church” that has helped with many new church efforts, especially in the last five years.
Chetrosu
Chetrosu is another large village with over 5000 people. This was our most recent new church build started in October of 2024.
Hirtop
Amazing progress was made by the first team of workers and then it was time to pray and believe for further resources and progress.
